Our customers
What labelling requirements apply to my product?
Start with your product category, destination countries and supply-chain role. Check the required product identifier, manufacturer and importer contact details, applicable conformity markings, safety warnings and instructions. Confirm where each item must appear: on the product, packaging or accompanying documents. The applicable legislation determines the placement and any exceptions.
Which languages do my labels and instructions need?
Check the applicable product rules and each destination country’s language requirements. Do not assume English is sufficient across the EU. Identify which warnings, instructions and other information require translation before approving the files.
Are product markings and packaging labels the same?
Product markings and packaging labels serve different purposes. A CE mark does not establish compliance with packaging sorting-information requirements. CE marking is required only for products covered by legislation that mandates it; it must not be added to other products. Assess the packaging separately for its materials, use and destination market.

Choose the support you need
Packaging and product-label review
For existing packaging artwork, product labels or a printer proof. The agreed review covers required information, markings, placement and legibility. France-bound packaging can be assessed for Triman and Info-tri applicability; electronics can be assessed for CE, WEEE, identifiers and warnings. Receive annotated comments and a prioritised change list. Review fees are quoted for your scope.
Manual review and document drafting
For electronics manuals, quick start guides and label specifications. Existing-manual reviews are quoted separately. Documentation drafting starts from €1,200 per product for one language. Your proposal identifies the files, revisions, languages and any artwork production included.

What a review looks like
ANONYMISED CLIENT EXAMPLE
A packaging review across three EU markets
EcoComply completed a pre-print packaging compliance review for a consumer-goods brand across three EU markets. The agreed scope covered mandatory packaging information, recycling markings and country-specific labelling. The engagement was structured around comments on artwork and a required-change list, rather than a lengthy report.
ILLUSTRATIVE MANUAL REVIEW · NOT A CLIENT CASE
When the manual contradicts the product label
Issue: A draft manual says “Use any USB power supply”, while the product label specifies particular input requirements.
Review comment: Confirm the approved power-source requirements against the manufacturer’s technical records.
Correction: Replace the generic instruction with the confirmed input ratings and compatible power-source requirements. Align the manual and label before release.
Packaging labelling and EPR for France, Germany and Italy
Preparing packaging for France? Ask us to include Triman and Info-tri in your artwork review. We also support packaging labelling and EPR for Germany and Italy. Your quote identifies the countries, packaging and responsibilities covered. Label review, EPR registration and reporting are separate services.
Need ongoing monitoring after the review?
EcoComply’s AI-powered platform monitors regulatory changes relevant to your product portfolio and proactively alerts you. An expert is available on demand to discuss what to do next.
Ask for monitoring as a separate scope. Your proposal confirms coverage, duration and fees.
Before you start

How long does a label or manual review take?

Provide your artwork, product details, target markets and required languages. Full manual drafting, translations and artwork production follow the delivery date stated in your quote.
Will I receive translations and print-ready artwork?
